The start of the Uk

It's rather hard to begin. This whole week has been rather blurred. The problem with business trips is that everything seems to go rather fast, but also rather slow. It's hard to balance time changes with 12 hour days of work while still
trying to be a 'good tourist.'

Sat. night I made my way down to the airport parking. It was certainly not something I would have done if I was on a personal trip. The 2 weeks I had planned to spend overseas, I'm sure will add up to a rather hefty parking tab. I
met up with Vince and Steve and headed out to Philly Intl. The first thing I noticed was that the people at British Airways Business class are a lot more friendly than Air-tran.

We quickly went through security so we could make it to the executive lounge to stock up on free food and beer for the Eagles game which was just about getting ready to start. Free food and beer was fish cakes and fresh salads and top shelf too. They really knew how to take care of you.

Vince and Steve are a great group of people to hang out with. They were very happy kicking off their shoes and drinking themselves to the Eagles. We waited till the final call for the airplane to run up to the gate. Just as we come out of the elevator we ran to the plasma screens by the gate to watch Westbrook run for a touchdown.

Once on the plane, it was great to see my seat. Fully reclining with my own TV screen, headphones, footrests, and tons of amenities. Hot towels, a bag of lotions and socks and blankets and pillows, etc. It may be a rather common fair, but it's my first time on a legitimate plane and my first time out of coach. We talked on the plane, and tried to get Eagles updates, and then settled down to try and grab some sleep before landing in London. I watched a little bit of Spiderman 2 and eventually gave up and tried to roll over.
