Hippie Attack
So as luck would have it, the day I decide to go London, so do thousands of peace loving hippies! There was a giant march protesting everything from Bush and Blair to fossil fuels and nukes.

I just took some more pictures of London that I thought I would share. This is the view coming out of the Tube. I don't remember where it is. It's a stop down from Piccadilly Circus.

On Sat. I spent the day in the town of Arundel (pronounced air-un-deull). It was a beautiful little town, and there was a nice network of sheep trails around the area that we decided to walk since it was a beautiful day.
Is everyone else as absolutely stoked to see TMNT as I am? The only thing I could see as being a let down are the voices. Splinter’s doesn’t seem to be too “sensei”-like. It seems more like a kid trying very hard to sound gruff. But anyway… very excited.
Every time I see the trailers or even just movie posters tough, I’m reminded of how there was the on going battle in school. Who would win in a fight; a TMNT (there was an argument on who would be the more challenging adversary) or Mega Man? It’s a good question…
So, I guess this is more of an inside joke, it's for Dave specifically, but there's humor in everything.
A long time ago DK and I were having a conversation regarding lingerie. I think it might have been as long ago as 6-7 years. I won’t bore you with the details, but in my youth I was excited for something someone had shown me from Fredrick’s of Hollywood at the time, and was commenting to DK regarding that. He mentioned a store he had found online that if he had the money he would spend a fortune. If my memory serves me correctly, that store was called Agent Provocateur. So imagine my surprise when I rounded the corner in SoHo and…

From my infinite historical history knowledge, derived mostly from Bond films and the Police Academy movies, I knew that if there ever were dragons, the must have existed in England. Why, because everyone who fought dragons had cross bows, chain mail, and swords, and all of those items came from English peoples. I had my knowledge further proved last weekend when I was in Winchester Cathedral again. I found a small impression of a man, obviously English, with a trophy of his latest dragon slaying!

:: note :: This blog, it’s writers, and it’s affiliates in no way endorse dragon abuse, dragon slayings, the French, or any use of dragons other than for good luck, riding around Fantasia, or chasing bullies into a dumpster.
On my journey weekend before last, I noticed this field off on the right hand side of this little road we were on. It was pretty enough that I had to pull over and stop to walk around it. I still don't really know what type of flowers they were (it was more of a pollen looking stalk than a flower per se), but they stretched on as far as you could see and were the most vibrant of yellow.

I don't know... I just thought the sheep looked cool. Of course, when you look at them up close, they're hardly fluffy and white. They sort of are caked in mud and dirt, but from afar they look nice.
So I've had a surprisingly large amount of mental time while working out here. I guess I've reached that psuedo-burntout point where I can justify taking 10 minute breaks every hour to keep my self from asploding. This is one such mental down time break.
So I haven’t really made it too public, because I wanted to make sure I had all the details worked out before hand. So I’m returning from the UK this weekend (late Sunday actually). I have a few weeks to get things in order, take a business trip to St. Louis, and then move my life into storage before I move back to the UK. The current plan is to have me stationed in the UK from May 1st till the end of the summer. I could come home as early as August or as late as November depending on how things work. I’m thinking that we are looking to be around mid September, but I might stay an extra week or two vacationing.
