Well Bob, you wanted a challenge, so here it goes.
It is a well known fact that starting in the early 70s, NHL players would stop shaving during the playoffs as good luck charm. This quickly grew into a fad that the fans started partaking in, to wish their team good luck.
I have begun to cheer on the Philadelphia Flyers as they tackle Washington in the first round of the playoffs. It's been about 4 years since I attempted to grow out a beard... little did I know what I was getting myself into when I decided not to shave.
[This is after 5 days of playoffs]
So I'm waiting on you Bob... where's your picture? Where's your beard?
Alex mentioned that he too would be partaking in this event for the Flyers. For obvious reasons I did not mention our competition to him because if you remember, he had a full beard at the age of 14.
