I've been thinking about another thing, as winter rolls in. How often do I actually ride my motorcycle around town these days?
This summer I maybe put a few hundred miles doing a few trips to and from work and maybe an ocassional spin around the block.
The costs associated with that are as follows:
Insurance per Year: $700
Registration: $75 (including personalized plate)
Speeding Ticked: $200
not to mention a damaged wrist.

So, judging by the traffic monitor I put on this site, the only people that read this are Meg and Lauren, and I find that slightly funny. However, I have an interesting math thought that was brought up by Mr. Pete Matt.
Would it be finacially benificial for both parties, for your empolyer to pay you an extra percent on your income (2-4%) to pay you on a per month basis instead of a bi-month basis.

I've been meaning to write about this earlier, many times actually, but the meat of the entry always seemed to escape me. Just realizing that, gave me enough to write about.
Caffeine changes my state of mind. In the process of a day, after having my soda w/ lunch, and my 3:00 "pick me up", my mind becomes more lucid as my brain scrambles to keep pace with my heart. I still experience a sort of physical jitteriness, but that isn't what sparks my interest, and also this entry. Caffeine makes my mind wander faster and farther than it ever does without it.

It was a day of action that drove me to that conclusion. After lugging my laptop from room to room, s-video cable and RCA adapter in hand, power cord hanging precariously out of my back pocket I had come to the conclusion that this had to stop. As a man of many visual fetishes, downloading sparse videos from the internet has become a favorite hobby of mine. From strange import movies, to weird asian fetish cartoons, and even some good old fashioned American Sci-fi I had amassed a rather large collection of .avi's, .movs, and iso files of a large plethora of viewables. The only way to enjoy these were to disconnect my laptop from it's nesting place upon my desk and transport it and it's cables en-mass to the tv of my choice. A rather tiresome procedure. I had come to the conclusion that this dance of cables had to come to an end.

I sat dumbfounded. I was actually dumb enough to try and plug it to the large screen tv that was in the living room, exposing my failure to the rest of the world (and all those playing poker at my previous operating table). I quickly ran down my checklist of failures...
- chip : no light
- PSU : no fan
- PowerStrip: Light on
- any noise whatsoever: none.
The culprite as it would turn out, would be much harder to notice:

Last weekend I drove from my apartment up to Wilkes Barre, PA. It's an exit north of the Poconos, 100 miles from Media, PA where I left. I decided that now would be a good time to test my maximum gas efficiency because, recently I had made some changes to my car in an attempt to better my miles per gallon.
